Dreaded woman naxalite facing 22 NBW, 62 offences arrested

 A young woman naxalite who is facing 62
criminal offences and against whom 22 non-bailable warrants have been
issued was arrested in a swift operation by Gadchiroli Police, Police
said today.
  Police said, identified as Vasanti alias Savita Pandu Potem joined
naxal movement in year 2004 and was Dalam Commander in Ganglur in
Bijapur district in neighbouring Chattisgarh
between 2006 and 2010.
  Her husband Madhu was also a dreaded naxalites and operated in Andhra Pradesh
and died in year 2006. Vasanti was produced before a Court in
Gadchiroli and handed over to Bijapur Police, yesterday, Police added.
